When it comes to mycotoxins, it’s not a matter of “if” they are present, but “what kind” and “how many”. In a global survey, 85 percent of cereal grains sampled were contaminated with at least one mycotoxin. The presence of mycotoxins in feed ingredients can have a significant negative impact on the health and performance of ruminants.
The right feed ingredients can help mitigate mycotoxins and reduce their effects on health and productivity.
In a breakout session at the upcoming Central Plains Dairy Expo, Dr. Joel Pankowski, Senior Manager of Dairy Technical Services with Arm & Hammer Animal and Food Production, will provide an overview of recent research-proven approaches to reduce mycotoxin impact. Information delivered in the session will help producers and nutritionists evaluate and implement practical solutions.
Session 1: March 20, 11:00 to Noon in Room MR 14 Session 2: March 21, 8:00 to 9:00 am in Room MR 1/2
Please consider attending one of these sessions to learn more about mycotoxin mitigation opportunities. If you can’t be at the presentation, stop by booth number H102 to speak with Dr. Pankowski or another ARM & HAMMER representative.
