What to do if you lose your dairy processor/co-op
This meeting will be held on February 17, 2020 from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm at the Swan Club in De Pere (875 Heritage Rd, De Pere). Topics and speakers include:
- Dairy market overview and considerations for hardening your market (Dr. Mark Stephenson, Director of the Center for Dairy Profitability, UW-Madison/Extension)
- Wisconsin Farm Center Resources (WI Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection)
- Finding a New Dairy Processor/Co-op (Liz Binversie, Agriculture educator, Extension Brown County)
Registration is free for farmers but they are asked to RSVP by February 5 so there is enough food. Industry and others are welcome to attend and registration is $25/person (includes buffet lunch and resource book).
