Dairy Producer Nights Out April 11 and 12

Two evenings of networking, education, and fun

University of Minnesota Extension and Minnesota Dairy Initiative—Central Region will be hosting two Dairy Producer Nights Out on Thursday, April 11 in Greenwald and Friday, April 12 in Little Falls. The purpose of a Dairy Producer Night Out is to bring local dairy producers together for an evening of networking, education, and fun. Both event will be held from 7:30pm-9:00pm; the April 11 event will be held at Greenwald Pub, located at 310 1st Ave N in Greenwald and the April 12 event will be held at Cabin Fever, located at 15331 183rd Street in Little Falls.

The Dairy Producer Nights Out are offered free of charge and include dinner. Pre-registration is requested by April 8. You can pre-register to Emily at 320-255-6169, extension 3 or krek0033@umn.edu; or contact Leah at 320-429-0611 or leahbischof@gmail.com.

The events will include a short presentation from Dr. Steve Baldwin and Dr. Lee Michels of Freeport Veterinary Service. Dr. Baldwin and Dr. Michels will present on vaccination programs for calfhood through breeding age. They will discuss how these and other strategies can be used to promote healthy calves and heifers.

 

 

Any dairy producer is invited to attend either of the Dairy Producer Nights Out, held April 11 in Greenwald and April 12 Little Falls. We hope you can join us!
