Dairy appreciation dinners will be held across state on Saturday, Oct. 16
“When things are uncertain, what’s important becomes clear and that was true this past year. The Pennsylvania dairy industry is supportive and hard-working, and it’s important for us to remember the power of community,” said Jayne Sebright, Executive Director at the Center for Dairy Excellence. “We look forward to coming together this fall for these Dairy Appreciation Dinners to offer encouragement to dairy farm families and celebrate their essential roles.”
The Dairy Appreciation Dinners will be held at the following locations:
- Eastern Pennsylvania – Brubaker Farms – Mount Joy, PA
Saturday, October 16 from 6-8:30 p.m. - Central Pennsylvania – Penn England LLC – Williamsburg, PA
Saturday, October 16 from 6-8:30 p.m. - Western Pennsylvania – The SpringHouse – Washington, PA
Saturday, October 16 from 6-8:30 p.m.
At each event, dairy producers and their families can enjoy:
- A free dinner
- Informal conversation – families can stay for as little or as long as they would like
- Live music
- Resource-sharing from dairy industry organizations
- An overall atmosphere of positivity and encouragement
