Executive-level program will also feature tours, realigned thought patterns.
Today’s dairy professionals have access to more information and new technologies than ever before, making it a challenge to sort through and analyze it. Facilitators at the 2027 Managers Academy for Dairy Professionals®, presented by Professional Dairy Producers® (PDP), will lead sessions demonstrating how artificial intelligence and other such tools can help simplify incoming data, sharpen decision-making and free up time for critical thinking.
The 2027 Managers Academy will be held January 19-21, 2027, in Phoenix, Arizona. The program is developed by PDP in collaboration with Progressive Dairy, Progressive Dairy Solutions and Rabo AgriFinance. The executive-level training program is designed for dairy owners, CEOs and senior leaders who want to be on the cutting-edge of business without falling prey to early-adapter blind spots. Classroom-style sessions and out-of-industry tours will provide attendees with new strategies and tools to focus their thinking and use technology as a management tool.
“Employ AI to work smarter,” presented by Sam Richter, founder and CEO, SBR Worldwide LLC, will explore practical ways to use artificial intelligence to reduce complexity, delegate and automate work, make better and faster decisions, increase efficiency and enhance creativity while freeing people to focus on the “human-only” tasks that drive organization productivity and growth. Richter will also share insights on how organizations of all sizes can embrace AI while protecting a people-first culture.
In “Use your brain to win,” Holly Green, business leader and behavioral scientist, will give attendees a glimpse inside their brain to better understand why people think the way they do, what leads them to arrive at their decisions, and how to lead others more effectively once these answers are known. Using interactive exercises and neuroprompts, she’ll compel attendees to question their own knee-jerk responses and thought patterns, challenge assumptions and alter perspectives so they can perform at higher levels simply by thinking differently.
A full day of out-of-industry tours will provide additional value regarding how businesses outside the dairy sector handle businesses challenges. Attendees will travel to and have the opportunity to talk with executives at Queen Creek Olive Mill, Salt River Project canal system and an Amazon Fulfillment Center.
