Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting rules went into effect on January 1. This means most United States entities will need to identify and begin submitting information about their beneficial owners. To help Northeast agricultural producers remain compliant, Farm Credit East is hosting a free informational webinar on Monday, June 10 at 12:00 p.m. EDT.

In this webinar, Farm Credit East experts will discuss the requirements of BOI Reporting, including which entities are required to report and which are exempt, and how to determine beneficial owners. The webinar will also cover reporting timelines, necessary filing information, and the frequency of filing updated information.

The BOI webinar taking place on June 10 is free to attend. Register at FarmCreditEast.com/Webinars. Contact Chris Laughton at (800) 562-2235 or Chris.Laughton@farmcrediteast.com for more information.

Farm Credit East also authored a blog article in January regarding these new reporting requirements. Visit FarmCreditEast.com/TaxTalks to read this article.
