FARM Version 2028: Proposed Changes and How to Weigh In

The National Dairy FARM Program is currently undergoing its periodic revision, and this webinar will provide an overview of what to expect as Version 2028 takes shape. Speakers will review the program’s history and governance structure, outline the current development timeline and walk through the proposed updates for Animal Care and Workforce Development. The session will also explain how dairy farmers and other industry stakeholders can shape the future of the FARM Program by participating in the process, including how to submit comments and share feedback before decisions are finalized.





SPEAKERS:

Nicole Ayache is NMPF’s Chief Sustainability Officer, leading the organization’s sustainability strategy and overseeing the FARM Program’s Environmental Stewardship and Workforce Development pillars. She develops tools and resources that enhance environmental and labor outcomes on U.S. dairy farms while providing supply chain assurances. Before joining NMPF in 2018, Nicole worked as a consultant for clients across the food and agriculture sector, giving her a broad perspective on sustainability.
Steven Roche is the Founder and CEO of ACER Consulting, blending epidemiological research, agricultural extension and health promotion to develop evidence-based solutions that improve animal health and welfare. He earned his PhD in epidemiology from the Ontario Veterinary College, where his research focused on improving adoption of on-farm practices to control Johne’s disease in the Canadian dairy industry.
This session is specifically intended for dairy farmers, including FARM Program participants, cooperative staff and associate members affiliated with NMPF. NMPF and the FARM Program reserve the right to deny participation in this webinar to non-members and non-program participants.
