Feedworks USA appoints Dr. Benjamin Wenner its first ever Ruminant Technical Services Manager

Feedworks USA, Ltd., has enhanced its field service and technical support with the appointment of Benjamin Wenner, PhD, as Ruminant Technical Services Manager. Dr. Wenner will work closely with the Feedworks USA ruminant team, drawing on his expertise to help educate customers and increase understanding of feed ingredients and their mechanisms. In his new role, he will focus on research, training, teaching and product innovation. Dr. Wenner will continue to support sales within the U.S. of Calmin, a supplemental source of calcium and magnesium.

“As we expanded our ruminant product line, we saw the value in having Dr. Wenner become the available ruminant expert for both our customers and our internal team,” says Tom Elliott, National Ruminant Manager at Feedworks USA. “He makes those around him smarter about feed ingredient inclusion and will be an invaluable resource.”

Prior to joining Feedworks USA, Dr. Wenner was an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Sciences at the Ohio State University, where he previously earned his PhD in Interdisciplinary Nutrition. He has served as a Dairy Technical Services Manager at Perdue AgriBusiness Animal Nutrition and as a nutritionist for CSA Animal Nutrition. Dr. Wenner earned his M.S. in Animal Sciences at the Ohio State University.
