The final review process for the proposed April evaluation changes and additions is underway. As a part of this process, independent review is conducted at an international level by Interbull and by CDCB groups – the Dairy Evaluation Review Team and the Genetic Evaluation Methods Committee.
When the review process is complete and a final outlook for the April evaluations is known, the industry and producers will be notified. In the meantime, insight into the proposed changes to existing female fertility traits and descriptions of three new traits can be gleaned from these CDCB Industry Meeting talks.
