Farm Credit East has released an updated report to help Northeast producers identify grants and incentives. There are a number of funding opportunities available to assist Northeast agriculture businesses, but learning about their availability and navigating the application process can be a challenge. This report provides federal, regional and state grants, loan guarantees, and other incentives available to assist Northeast producers of all types and sizes.
This Farm Credit East Knowledge Exchange report includes funding opportunities available in the eight states served by Farm Credit East: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. New this year, the report also incorporates grant opportunities available in Pennsylvania. Programs are divided into broad categories according to their main focus: beginning farmers; conservation, environment and forestry; energy; fisheries and aquaculture; organic; rural business development; and research, education and promotion.
