Young Breeders, the breeding ground for breeders of tomorrow
Friday, November 10 is HHH Young Breeders Day. The clipping competition starts at 7.45 am, followed by the showmanship competition and the judgement of the conformation of the heifers. 140 Young Breeders have registered: 85 seniors (over 18) and 55 juniors. The Young Breeders competition can be followed from the stands from 11 am until the end of the afternoon.
Quim Serrabassa from Spain and Michael Halliwell from the United Kingdom will judge the Young Breeders on their performances.
The day ends with honoring the champions. This takes place in the Holland Holstein House, while enjoying food and drinks. This is followed by the Young Breeders Sale with fantastic auction numbers. You are all cordially invited to this sensational breeders’ evening!
International allure
The Holstein and Red Holstein show will take place on Saturday, November 11. In terms of quality and quantity, the Holland Holstein sHow is among the best in Europe. 218 Holstein and 94 Red Holstein cows have been registered. Luc Sassel from France will judge the Holsteins and Markus Mock from Germany will be the judge for the Red Holsteins.
There is a special class where cows that have produced more than 75,000 kg of milk are put in the spotlights.
The Holland Holstein sHow is traditionally the only show where competition takes place at national level for the herd group championship. This is seen as a highlight of the day for many contributors and visitors.
It will soon be announced which daughter groups will be shown, we will keep you informed about this.
Saturday will end with a grand parade, where all champions from both Friday and Saturday will once again be in the spotlights. The grand champions of both Holstein and Red Holstein will also be announced here.
