More recently, IDFA has been working with our partner PwC to provide IDFA members with resources related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) accounting and risk management as well as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s newly proposed climate disclosure rule. Here are some of those resources:
- IDFA’s Danielle Quist and Matt Herrick break down what IDFA members should know about SEC’s new climate disclosure rules in this three-part blog series.
- PwC developed a “first look” brief on the SEC proposal and put on a webinar to update IDFA members. Find these on the IDFA Knowledge Center.
- PwC has made available their ESG knowledge hub, ESG Reporting Services, and ESG Investor survey. Find these on the IDFA Knowledge Center.
- PwC will host a multi-part webinar series for IDFA members beginning in July to introduce IDFA members to ESG accounting and risk management practices beginning with a look at how to track and account for scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions within a company supply chain. Watch the IDFA Events Calendar for updates.
IDFA also recently collaborated with the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy to develop the Sustainability Resource Guide for U.S. Dairy Processors, which will support dairy processor companies seeking to align their company operations with sustainability metrics and goals generally used throughout the dairy industry. This new resource is available online through an interactive and searchable portal allowing readers to easily access key resources that support their sustainability planning efforts.
Finally, IDFA’s Sustainability Committee seeks to further the dairy industry’s ability to establish and meet its sustainability goals and targets by developing IDFA positions and resources related to state and federal regulation, legislation and policies. Learn more here.
