INDCO Tri-Clamp® Mixers Are Ideal for Mixing Dairy Products

Tri-Clamp® Mount Mixers from INDCO produce ample shear to form emulsions when mixing lipophilic compounds like those often found in dairy processing applications.  Designed for sealed applications, the sanitary tri-clamp® design provides quick and easy, no-tools access to the vessel.  The Model TCM-3-100V electric variable speed unit plugs directly into a standard 120-volt outlet, providing out-of-the-box productivity.  Standard features include a 3-inch diameter tri-clamp® flange, internally mounted mechanical seal rated full vacuum to 125 psi, and a shaft coupler.  A 1 HP epoxy coated washdown motor is driven by a NEMA 4X control and provides output speed from 35-1750 rpm to put dairy products in emulsion.  The 5/8” diameter by 35” long shaft attaches to the coupler and two 5-inch, 3-blade square pitch propellers with set screws.  All wetted parts are 316 stainless steel, with optional electropolished wetted parts available. In addition to mixers, INDCO provides a full range of mixing tanks for use within the dairy industry.  Stainless steel tanks in stationary or portable configurations are available with capacities from 15- to 1500-gallons.  Sanitary finish options available include 120-grit, #4 finish with all interior welds ground flush and polished.  Exterior welds ground and buffed smooth.  All welds passivated and leak tested.  Standard material is 304 stainless, with 316 optional.
