Join Us for Free Animal Care Workshops

If you haven’t already, sign up for one of four, free animal care workshops being held on dairy farms across the state this March! Hosted by the Center for Dairy Excellence and the PA Beef Council, the events are ideal for dairy producers and their employees. The workshops will focus on hands-on skill-building in several key animal welfare areas to help you meet National FARM compliance.

What to Expect:

• The workshops will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on four dairy farms across the state. View dates and locations below.
• Lunch will be provided at the conclusion of each event.
• A Spanish interpreter will be present at each event, making the workshops ideal for both English and Spanish-speaking employees.
• These workshops are for dairy farm owners and/or their employees. They will satisfy the FARM requirements for training in the areas listed below.
• Each workshop attendee will receive a certificate of completion to keep with your records in case you are audited for compliance by your milk handler or by a third party.
