Maola Local Dairies™ is pleased to announce the hiring of Kathrina Reed as Executive Vice President, Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory. In this role, Reed will lead the cooperative’s food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across all Maola® processing facilities.
Reed brings more than 34 years of leadership experience across food safety, quality, sanitation, research and development, and plant operations within highly regulated manufacturing environments.

Reed’s career has been defined by a deep commitment to food safety and product quality, as well as a hands-on, collaborative approach to working with plant teams and cross-functional partners to deliver results. She brings extensive experience strengthening food safety cultures, implementing scalable quality systems, and operating effectively within complex regulatory environments. This background positions her well to advance Maola’s quality commitment while supporting the cooperative’s mission to create value for its farmer-owners.
Reed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from Purdue University.
