Club members proudly exhibited their animals at the Kutztown Fair on August 10
The hard work paid off for four members of the Lehigh County 4-H Dairy Club at the Kutztown Fair this year. Competing against many other high quality 4-H exhibitors, the Lehigh County members earned second place for their Club Herd. Club members include Olivia and Logan Wisser from New Tripoli and Levi and Samuel Lazarus from Schnecksville. They chose the best 4 animals from their classes for the day and entered them in the Club Herd group class.
Many educational and fun activities are offered by 4-H in Pennsylvania. In Pennsylvania, 4-H is coordinated by Penn State Cooperative Extension through the U.S. Department of Agriculture. 4-H programs are open to all youths regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability. For more information about the above events or other 4-H activities, call the 4-H office in your county: Lehigh 610-391-9840 or LehighExt@psu.edu.
