Nedap CowControl detects when the cow is in heat and how strong the heat is, even during the voluntary waiting period. Animals that are irregularly cyclical or non-cyclic can be easily filtered out and put on the work list for further examination by a fertility expert. Cows that have the best genetic potential and have shown multiple heats can be selected for insemination with sexed semen, as they have a significantly higher conception rate.
