New Energy Efficiency Program for CA Dairy Processors

A new $6 million grant from the California Energy Commission (CEC) is focused on helping California dairy processors improve operations, lower costs and reduce energy consumption. This new dairy-specific program is based on a highly successful CEC program in 2016-2019 that produced an average of 17% energy savings across 100 plants in California. This grant program is only open to 30 plants in California on a first come first serve basis.

What’s Included
The grant includes free digital energy meters (including installation) and Zira process management and collaboration software to connect the systems in the plant and provide real time measurement and analysis.
