New York Farm Disaster Preparation Certificate Course

Learn about the emergencies and disasters your farm may be vulnerable to

Are you prepared if an emergency happens on your farm? Could you benefit from a better understanding of what emergencies and disasters your farm is vulnerable to? Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County is hosting a Farm Disaster Preparation Certificate Course for farmers and their employees this month.

From participating in this one-day workshop you will:

• Learn what to invest in for disaster preparation that will provide positive returns to the farm, even if a disaster does not occur.
• Farm managers and employees increase their ability to respond to an emergency to reduce potential losses to the farm.
• A better understanding of what emergencies or disasters you are vulnerable to.

This low-cost workshop is on Wednesday, January 30 from 10am to 4pm in the Agricultural Education Center at CCE Madison County (100 Eaton Street, Morrisville) and is $25 dollars, which includes lunch. Are you insured by Farm Family/American National Insurance?
