The organization connects students with Southeast Dairy Farmers
Virtual Farm Trips, an exceptional educational initiative owned and operated by Shift•ology Communication, provides a dynamic platform for agricultural organizations to join hands in a mission to bridge the gap between classrooms and farmlands. Through the program, students are seamlessly connected in real-time with farms and farmers, offering them a firsthand glimpse into the world of agriculture from the comfort of their classrooms.
“The Virtual Farm Trips program is not only transforming the way students learn about agriculture and dairy farming, but it also fosters a deeper understanding of the vital role farmers play in our society,” said Geri Berdak, Chief Executive Officer at The Dairy Alliance. “We are proud to be a part of this milestone and connecting students with our dairy farmers to fuel agricultural curiosity.”
Earlier this year, The Dairy Alliance announced its continued partnership with Discovery Dairy’s “Adopt a Cow” program in sponsoring interactive lessons and activities to give students an inside look at a dairy farm in the Southeast. The celebration of this extraordinary milestone from National Farmers Day serves as a testament to The Dairy Alliance’s continued success and the dedication of its partners.
