Two Pennsylvania Youth Win the Second Annual Fitting Contest at the All-American Dairy Show.
The All-American Dairy Show Youth Fitting Contest drew 17 competitors in the senior division, for ages 16-21, and 16 competitors in the intermediate division, for ages 12-15. Matt Hawbaker of Clear Spring, Maryland, judged both divisions. Cole Nickerson of Corry, Pennsylvania, won the senior division, and Karile Supplee of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, won the intermediate division.

The Michael Heath Award, presented in memory of Michael Heath, recognized one individual in each division who demonstrated promise and dedication. Hannah Gingerion of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, received the senior division award, and Raelyn Stamaugh of Westminster, Maryland, received the intermediate division award.
Awards and sponsors: The overall senior winner received a set of clippers from Sullivan’s and a cash award from MD-Hillbrook and Maryland State Grange and friends of MPH. The overall intermediate winner received a cash award from Maryland State Grange and Friends of MPH. Additional prizes included topline dryer/ brushes from Mid Atlantic Hoof Trimming and show halters and adhesives from Sullivan Supply, Inc.

The All-American Dairy Show is underway at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg and runs through Sept. 16.
