Plant a Seed Campaign Underway to Benefit Educational Programs

Professional Dairy Producers Foundation Campaign Vital to Raising of Funds

The Professional Dairy Producers Foundation, also known as Dairy’s Foundation, is the only foundation in the U.S. that covers the entire dairy sector nationally. With its three core goals being to build the next generation of professional dairy producers, develop the skills of current dairy producers, and enhance and maintain public trust in dairy producers, Dairy’s Foundation relies on funds raised through the “Plant a Seed” campaign.

For the sixth year, this campaign will feature a friendly competition to meet a goal of raising $100,000. Formally known as the “Plant a Seed, Inspire A Dream” campaign, this competition specifically raises funds to directly support the creation of new and sustainable dairy leadership resources and educational programs. The campaign will run from February 1 through April 30.

Every dollar donated multiplies thanks to matching funds from partners at Agropur ($7,500) and Compeer Financial ($5,000). Donations can be made by mailing a check payable to Professional Dairy Producers Foundation and sending to 820 N. Main Street, Suite D, Juneau, WI 53039. Dairy’s Foundation, a national public-held foundation was established by Professional Dairy Producers in 2002 as a way to raise funds and award grants for educational programs. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 entity. Our mission is to share ideas, resources and experiences about important issues surrounding the dairy industry through educational opportunities for dairy producers and the public.
