The suspense is finally over! We know everyone has been anxiously looking for an update, and we can’t wait to share where we are heading next.
We know the road to getting this calendar set had a few unexpected twists and turns. Unavoidable venue and scheduling conflicts meant we had to shift gears and find a brand-new spot for next year. We are genuinely thrilled about this destination. Providence is an incredible, historic food city, and we cannot wait to watch the entire cheese community take over the vibrant streets of the Ocean State!
And it gets even better! If you were counting down the days to visit America’s Dairyland, do not worry about missing out on Madison. We simply shifted our timeline, which means we are officially heading to Madison, Wisconsin from August 1–4, 2028!
Thank you all so much for your incredible patience and your amazing energy while we worked out all these final details. This outcome was absolutely worth the time. We are already deep into planning an unforgettable week for Rhode Island, and we promise it is going to be spectacular.
Save the dates for July 2027 and stay tuned for more details in the coming months, as registration and hotel blocks will officially open in March 2027.

Providence Area Members — We Need You!
As our boots-on-the-ground experts, local members will play an essential role in creating an unforgettable ACS 2027 experience. You know Providence—its hidden gems, must-visit spots, local connections, and, of course, where to find the best cheese! Host City Committee members will help recommend pre-conference tours, map out cheese crawl stops, recruit local volunteers, and connect ACS with great local partners and potential sponsors. Your local knowledge and connections are exactly what we need to bring Providence to life for ACS attendees. If you live in Providence or the surrounding area, please consider raising your hand.
