An exciting activity that the Mentors have taken on is working with UW-Madison students in the Department of Agricultural & Applied Economics through the CALS Classroom Consulting opportunity.
Since 2024, multiple DBIA companies have worked with Mentors and students to develop new social media marketing plans, evaluate new retail locations, update logistical plans, and more. This has allowed university students to learn more about the dairy industry and solve real world problems while offering free consulting to dairy businesses.

DBIA Grant Programs
We will be announcing the full list of grant recipients in early December! Stay tuned for the full list of exciting projects being funded! New awardees will also be paired with DBIA Mentors to help them get their projects off the ground in 2026.
The next DBIA Dairy Business Builder grant cycle will open in February 2026- we will update the website with the complete schedule in December. Please check back for more information about the webinar and important deadlines!
