Select Sires Welcomes Brandon Sowder as Vice President, Business and Genetic Integration

Select Sires Inc. is pleased to announce that Brandon Sowder has joined the organization as Vice President, Business and Genetic Integration. In this leadership role, Sowder will work closely with customer-facing teams around the world to strengthen genetic programs, enhance educational resources, and help dairy and beef producers capture greater value from Select Sires genetics and services.

Sowder will provide strategic leadership across global customer business and genetic programs, including enterprise accounts, embedded genetic initiatives, genetic production and delivery programs, and embryo offerings. He will also serve as a key connection point between Select Sires’ genetic development, sales, and marketing teams to ensure customers benefit from coordinated, practical, and results-focused solutions.

Sowder brings more than 20 years of experience serving the beef and dairy industries through leadership, business development, sales management, and customer support roles. His career includes a two-year assignment living in the United Kingdom and Italy, providing him with a global perspective on agriculture and customer service. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with producers, sales teams, and industry partners to develop programs that support growth, improve operational performance, and create long-term customer value.

A graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in animal science, Sowder combines a strong livestock background with a commitment to education, collaboration, and customer success.
