Sen. Fetterman visits DFA farm during Dairy Month

When policymakers visit the farm, they get more than a tour— they see the people and work behind every drop of milk.

Sen. John Fetterman, D-PA, recently visited Canon Dairy, a fifth-generation, DFA family-owned farm in West Middlesex, PA, for a firsthand look at how the dairy operates and a candid conversation about key issues facing today’s dairy industry. “We really appreciated the chance to host Senator Fetterman and his staff. He was engaged and asked great questions,” says Mark Canon.

“It meant a lot to show him not just how our milk is produced, but where it goes. He was supportive of bringing whole milk back to schools.”

Farm visits like this help bridge the gap between policy and the people it impacts — ensuring dairy families have a voice in the decisions that shape their future.
