As social media drives news and influencers set the public agenda, dairy needs to be represented. This webinar features three industry leaders in sharing dairy’s positive story online, discussing how they represent the industry, the benefits and pitfalls of engagement, and best practices for anyone who wants to help champion dairy farmers and dairy products in the virtual world.

SPEAKERS:

Emily Schaapman
is a first-time mom and dairy advocate who grew up on a Pennsylvania dairy farm and turned her passion for agriculture, health and fitness into a thriving career. As the founder and CEO of Dairy Girl Fitness and host of the Cow Girl Talk podcast, Emily empowers women in agriculture to prioritize their health through personalized fitness and nutrition coaching, community and education.
Paul Windemuller is a dairy farmer, podcaster and speaker focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence and agriculture, helping producers understand how emerging technologies are transforming farm operations and decision-making. Windemuller is the host of the Ag Culture Podcast, the Dairy Farmers of America member-owner and the winner of NMPF’s 2025 Farmer Communicator of the Year award.
Amanda Culp
is the Director of Communications and Marketing at Maola Local Dairies, owned by Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association, where she leads media, marketing and communications efforts that support consumer engagement and public policy messaging. Prior to joining Maola, Amanda spent more than a decade at the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture.
Alan Bjerga serves as NMPF’s Executive Vice President of Communications and Industry Relations, leading the organization’s communications efforts with a focus on digital storytelling, media relations and marketing while expanding outreach to its members and the broader dairy industry. He is the author of NMPF’s Dairy Defined thought leadership series and the host of its “Dairy Defined” podcast.
This session is intended for cooperative staff, dairy farmers and associate members of NMPF. Participation in this webinar and other members-only activities is limited to staff, board members and farmer-owners of NMPF cooperative members, as well as staff and board members of NMPF associate members. Participants must list their cooperative or associate member affiliation when registering to confirm eligibility.
