TechMix is pleased to announce the addition of two new territory managers to its bovine sales team. Kaitlin Focken joins TechMix as Midwest Bovine Territory Manager, while Jennifer Heltzel joins as Northeast Bovine Territory Manager. Together, they bring extensive animal health, production agriculture, and industry experience that will help TechMix strengthen relationships with distributors, veterinarians and producers across their respective regions.

Focken was raised on a ranch in western South Dakota, where her passion for cattle and production agriculture began. After earning her Veterinary Technology degree in 2012, she spent 10 years working in and managing a small animal veterinary clinic. She later joined Animal Health International as an Inside Sales Representative, working with veterinarians, clinic staff and producers throughout Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. During her four years in that role, she focused on building customer relationships, understanding individual operations and identifying practical ways to help customers succeed.

Today, Focken lives with her husband and two young sons on their family farm in eastern South Dakota, where they operate a beef cow-calf herd. Her combination of animal health experience, customer relationships and firsthand cattle production experience provides a strong foundation for supporting TechMix customers throughout the Midwest.

Heltzel brings 30 years of firsthand dairy production experience from operating her family dairy, Piney Mar Farm, in Pennsylvania. Beyond the farm, she has been actively involved in leadership throughout the dairy industry, including serving as a DFA Northeast Council Director and Treasurer of the National Dairy Board. Other industry involvement has also included a variety of roles with Dairy Management Inc., the Global Dairy Platform, American Dairy Association Northeast, the Pennsylvania Beef Council and the Pennsylvania Center for Dairy Excellence.

“Adding Kaitlin and Jennifer to our bovine team brings two very different but highly valuable perspectives to our customers,” says Mike Koester, US Director of Sales for TechMix. “Both understand production agriculture firsthand and recognize the importance of strong relationships with the people we serve. Their experience will help us continue to strengthen our presence and support animal health and performance throughout the Midwest and Northeast.”

Focken is based in South Dakota and will serve TechMix customers throughout the Midwest territory. Heltzel resides in Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, and will support customers throughout the Northeast. Both will represent TechMix’s portfolio of bovine solutions designed to keep animals drinking, eating and producing.
