TechMix has hired Mike Koester as Bovine Sales Manager responsible for leading the US Bovine sales team. Mike joins TechMix with more than 29 years of experience in the animal health industry in roles that include sales leadership, marketing, and colleague development. Working directly with colleagues has been a focus for Mike throughout his career. Most recently Mike was a Strategic Business partner for the Livestock group of the Zoetis Sales Operations.
Mike has extensive livestock experience, spending six years managing dairies, before spending 7 years managing the teaching and research facility “The Dairy Center” at Iowa State in Calmar, Iowa, and then teaching dairy science at Northeast Iowa Community College. After completing his MBA, Mike joined Pfizer Animal Health, now Zoetis, where he held various positions including dairy sales, Learning and Development, and Area Business Manager for both Dairy and Beef managing and coaching colleagues. This was followed by roles as Field-Based Dairy Marketing liaison and Strategic Business partner.
