
Earlier today, USDA shared the following resources regarding the Federal Order to assist with developing a baseline of critical information and limiting the spread of H5N1 in dairy cattle.

In addition, USDA APHIS announced this afternoon that they’re bolstering animal disease traceability in the U.S. While not directly related to the new Federal Order, the announcement details can be found here.
ODPA is working with the Ohio Department of Agriculture and their state vet Dr. Dennis Summers to acquire greater clarity on the Federal Order, specifically the movement of cull dairy cattle.
