You’re Invited to Mental Health Workshops for Agriculture Professionals

Center for Dairy Excellence

If you haven’t already signed up, make sure you join us for one of the remaining mental health workshops happening across the state throughout March and April! You’ll gain specific training on how to navigate mental health issues in the farm community. These workshops are ideal for ag professionals who are in contact with livestock producers. This might include:

  • Lenders
  • Ag agency personnel
  • Nutritionists
  • Inspectors and regulatory staff
  • Veterinarians
  • Educators
  • Consultants
  • Agronomists
  • Other ag industry professionals or farm family members

The Center for Dairy Excellence, Center for Beef Excellence, Center for Poultry & Livestock, PA Beef Producers Working Group, and Penn State Extension Dairy and Livestock teams are partnering to host the workshops. The workshops are part of a Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture effort, funded by a USDA Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network (FRSAN) Grant.
