CentralStar Cooperative hires new group of employees

CentralStar Cooperative serves dairy and beef producers in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana. Growing business for the historical cooperative continues to create new opportunity to hire on more employees. During the last three months, 18 employees have decided to pursue full-time and part-time careers at CentralStar Cooperative in a variety of areas.

 

 

Team artificial insemination (A.I.) technicians continue to be extremely important to the productivity of the dairy industry. Leonard Eicher, Barron, Wis.; Kyle Knops, Clayton, Wis.; Caleb Hamm, Waupaca, Wis.; Scott Casto, Janesville, Wis., Colton O'Brien, Hilbert, Wis.; Steve Schneider, Pulaski, Wis.; Jeremy Goodwin, Wanatah, Ind.; and Robert Youker, Grawn, Mich. have all accepted roles in this area of CentralStar’s business structure.

CentralStar Cooperative has a Dairy Herd Information (DHI) milk- and diagnostic-testing division that continues to expand as dairy farmers learn all the herd-health information that can be obtained from a small sample of milk. Due to this expansion, six new DHI specialists have been added to the employee team in the last few months. They include Lexi DuSell, Hudson, Wis.; Katelyn Loeks, McBain, Mich.; Scott Nitschke, Fox Lake, Wis.; Jadyn Sander, Wauzeka, Wis.; Robert Byers, Argos, Ind.; and Taylor Beach, Jackson, Mich.

As a part of the milk-testing efforts, CentralStar Cooperative has two laboratories, one in Kaukauna, Wis., and the other in Grand Ledge, Mich. Morgan Powers, Grand Ledge, Mich.; Hannah Armbruster, Lake Odessa, Mich.; Caleb Silsby, Mason, Mich.; and Ashley LaClair, St. Louis, Mich., have all joined the Grand Ledge laboratory team to help that location with testing operations.
