Holidays, health and heifers are the central topics of PDPW’s The Dairy Signal™ next week. The Tues. Dec. 14 episode will feature cheese pairings and holiday entertaining tips; the Weds. On Thursday, facility expert Dr. Nigel Cook, DVM, will share insights on designing and managing facilities for optimal heifer comfort.

Thursday, Dec. 16
Learn the critical ins and outs of heifer comfort, including barn and stall design, bedding type, hoof health and other management practices for these important members of your herd. Episode presenter will be:

• Nigel Cook, DVM, Professor in Food Animal Production Medicine, UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, and Chair of the Department of Medical Sciences
