Thomas earned his bachelor’s and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Cornell University. Following graduation, Thomas entered clinical practice at Countryside Veterinary Clinic, LLP in northern New York, where he was a partner for 19 years. In 2012, he joined other colleagues and founded Dairy Health to provide bio-economic, decision-based consulting and research to dairy clients. Within the practice, Thomas focuses on production and preventative medicine. In addition to routine veterinary care, he provides consulting services in the areas of nutrition, reproduction, milk quality and replacement rearing. He works with dairy health teams in the United States, Mexico and China.
