NMC webinar offers RACE credit

Historically, mastitis diagnostic services have been operated solely by veterinary practitioners in a controlled clinic environment. It is becoming increasingly common for large dairy farms, with many located in remote areas, to establish their own on-farm laboratories for milk quality and mastitis diagnostics. These on-farm labs offer convenience for the dairy producer but are often limited in scope compared to a full-service veterinary lab and should be operated with guidance. Justin Britten will cover some of the key differences between these two situations and practices that can make – or break – successful outcomes in each scenario.
