Animal Care Workshop in the series! The free workshop will be held in Potter County, Pa. next
Tuesday, April 25 at Hoffman Farms from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. There are a few spots left, so we hope to see you there.
What can you expect from the workshop? Hosted by the Center for Dairy Excellence, the Professional Dairy Managers of PA (PDMP), the PA Beef Council and Penn State Extension, the event will help you and your dairy team boost your skills and get certified in key animal welfare areas within the Farmers Assuring Responsible Management (FARM) Program. A Spanish interpreter will be present, making the workshops ideal for both English and Spanish-speaking employees.
*Please let us know if you have a Spanish speaker in your group during registration, so we can plan accordingly.A
certificate will also be provided at the conclusion of the workshop to show your commitment to National FARM and animal care. You will also have the opportunity to be certified through the National Beef Council Calf Care & Quality Assurance (CCQA) program by the end of the workshop.
