PA Agricultural Industry Breakfast on August 12

Center for Dairy Excellence

Every day Pennsylvania’s farm families face emerging risks, from the spring freeze in April to the droughty conditions in June, from HPAI in poultry to New World Screwworm infecting beef herds along the southern border. Remaining viable in today’s agricultural industry requires

adaptability, risk management, and a solution-based mindset. Don’t forget to sign up for the 2026 PA Agricultural Industry Breakfast, Managing Risk & Building Resilience, on August 12 at Ag Progress Days! We’ll discuss the economics of risks in agricultural operations and how we can better equip our farm families with the resources to navigate through the challenges to seize opportunities for greater profitability.

The PA Agricultural Industry Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 7-9 a.m. in the Special Events Building at Ag Progress Days. Both producers and sales and service professionals working in the animal ag industry are invited to join us for breakfast and learn about managing risk across PA agriculture sectors.

The breakfast is free, but pre-registration is required. Click here to RSVP today or call 717-346-0849.

This event is being held as part of an initiative of the Pennsylvania Beef Producers Working Group, Center for Beef Excellence, Center for Poultry and Livestock Excellence, Center for Dairy Excellence, Center for Plant Excellence, and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
