One-day conference for agriculture-industry interns set for July 22 in Madison, Wis.
For those spearheading the summer internship program within their organization or dairy, PDP Accelerate™ offers resources that transcend those of most traditional internship experiences. In addition to peer-networking opportunities, attendees will have access to a trainer whose expertise includes helping others master the skills of leadership, communication and professionalism. Scheduled for July 22, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton-Madison East in Madison, Wis., the conference will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“We’re excited to present the Accelerate conference again this year to enhance the internship experience for students working with dairies and organizations across agriculture,” said Amber Cafferty, PDP marketing and development coordinator. “Through internships, ag employers build the next generation of industry leaders. Adding PDP Accelerate into their summer internship program demonstrates their commitment to a culture of learning while also enhancing the student experience.”
Facilitated by professional-development expert Michael Hoffman, the event blends hands-on learning, peer networking and interactive skill practice to ensure interns build the skills they’ll need to excel after college. Hoffman is founder and owner of Igniting Performance Inc, a Dallas-based company that specializes in fostering sales skills, customer loyalty, leadership and team-member development.
