About the speaker:

Dr. Max Hawkins focuses on developing and implementing the Alltech^® Mycotoxin Management program, including interpreting and analyzing mycotoxin reports completed by the Alltech 37+^® mycotoxin analytical services laboratory. He began his work with Alltech in October 2011 and provides the livestock industry with up-to-date information on mycotoxin risk on a global basis.

Hawkins holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University as well as master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Tennessee. While completing his degrees at the University of Tennessee, he conducted research on feeder cattle evaluation and osteochondrosis in swine. He also coached the Livestock Judging Team and taught various livestock production classes.
