Speakers Norman Nabholz, Union, Iowa, and John Erbsen, Lanark, Ill., will entertain the crowd with stories of the past, their experiences in the Registered dairy business and much more. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to hear these two dairy legends tell their stories.
Individuals are responsible for their own meals, but in order for WHA to give the restaurants a number to plan for, please RSVP with the office by Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 800-223-4269. Lunch at Cantafio’s Buckhorn Steakhouse is $12 per plate with the option of a prime rib sandwich or two-piece haddock. Dinner at the Rib River Ballroom is $14.90 with options of chicken or beef tips dinner. Please indicate which meal option you’d like at the time of RSVP.
About the Speakers
Norman Nabholz was born on a Registered Jersey farm in Iowa. He attended Ellsworth Junior College and Iowa State University where he was on the judging team. In 1976 he started Nabholz Sales Company and has sold cattle throughout the U.S., Canada and several other countries. In addition, Norm has made pedigree announcements throughout the U.S. and Canada for the last 45 years.
Throughout his years, Norm has been involved with buying and selling such Holstein cows as KHW Regiment Apple-Red, C Taralay Astro Sherry, Quality Ridge Stormi Hazel, Cache-Valley Lheros 2331-ET and Jerseys including Duncan Belle, Huronia Centurian Veronica and Llolyn Jude Griffin-ET. He’s owned or sold 16 World Dairy Expo Grand Champions including three Supreme Champions.
John has judged numerous state fairs, shows and the World Dairy Expo Junior Holstein show, as well as shows in Mexico and he will judge the upcoming Midwest Spring National Holstein Show.
Along with Connor, he has been blessed to be involved as partner in KHW Regiment Apple-Red-ET, EX-96, and is responsible for raising a majority of her progeny as well as promoting and marketing them since 2007.
