2021 UC Small Grains/Alfalfa-Forages Virtual Field Day May 12

University of California Davis

“UC Davis has held a field day on campus for at least 40 years, and this year we will hold a ‘virtual field day’ featuring small grains and alfalfa research,” says Daniel H Putnam, UC Extension educator.

“Please join us on May 12th from 1 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.,” he adds.

According to Putnam, this is a great opportunity to learn about alfalfa weed control, insect control, alfalfa varieties, and how to cope with the evolving 2021 drought!  PCA and CCA credits offered.

Learn about UC research and extension activities related to water, nutrient, soil, weed and pest management. Stay up to date on UC research work on small grains and alfalfa. There is no charge to attend the meeting.

Continuing education units (CEUs) will be available. Registration is required to receive CEUs.
