This past weekend, we were hashtag#DFAProud to support Harvesters—The Community Food Network, a powerful event raising critical funds to help feed families across the Kansas City metro.
Our chief financial officer, Kevin Strathman, who serves as chair of Harvesters, invited President and Chief Executive Officer Dennis Rodenbaugh and his wife, Cindy, to serve as this year’s honorary co-chairs.
In his remarks, Dennis shared how he and Cindy’s shared roots in agriculture — combined with a deep commitment to serving DFA’s farmer-owners — fuel their passion for supporting local communities and ensuring neighbors have access to high-quality, wholesome nutrition.
While this weekend was an inspiring step forward, Kevin offered an important reminder: the work doesn’t stop here.
Whether collecting donations, volunteering time or simply spreading the word, there’s always more we can do — and we’re committed to supporting our communities wherever and however we can!
