As you and your dairy team work to enhance efficiency and cow comfort, join us at one of five, free animal care workshops being held across the state this spring! Hosted by the Center for Dairy Excellence, PA Beef Council, the Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania (PDMP) and Penn State Extension, the workshops will help you boost your skills in key animal welfare areas to meet National FARM compliance. These workshops are for dairy farm owners and their employees. They will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on five Tuesdays throughout March and April. Click here to RSVP and find a location near you.

Rotate through four training stations throughout the day. Click here to learn more about the training areas that will satisfy National FARM requirements.
- Send both English and Spanish-speaking employees to the workshops. A Spanish interpreter will be present at each event.
- Enjoy a free lunch and conversations with other dairy farmers.
- Get a certificate at the conclusion of the workshops to show your commitment to National FARM and animal care.
- Get free biosecurity resources and PPE equipment.
- Take advantage of the opportunity to get certified in Calf Care and Quality Assurance (CCQA) or get recertified in Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) if you’re interested.
- Join us for an optional tour of a nearby dairy farm at the end of the workshop.
