NYS Ag Society looking for 2022 award nominations

NYS Agricultural Society

Organization recognizes leaders in eight categories annually at their January Forum

Harvest is upon us, and so is award season at the NYS Agricultural Society. This 700-plus member organization recognizes leaders in eight categories annually at their January Forum including FFA Chapter of the Year, Next Generation Farmer, Business of the Year, Farm Safety, Ag Promotion, Distinguished Service, Ag Journalism, and Bicentennial & Century Farms. Make a nomination by September 15 at https://www.nysagsociety.org/publications-awards/.

Given the significant and diverse participation of attendees, the NYS Ag Society’s Annual Forum is an ideal platform to honor individuals and businesses who lift the state’s ag and food industry to new heights in terms of environmental stewardship, consumer outreach, farm safety and the production of quality, safe foodstuffs. Through this unique type of recognition and story sharing, the NYS Ag Society strives to build better understanding and positive working relationships with neighbors, consumers, industry partners and government leaders. The 2022 Forum is scheduled for Thursday, January 6th.

Established in 1832, the mission of the NYS Agricultural Society is to foster, promote, and improve the NYS food and agricultural industry through education, leadership development and recognition programs. For more award and Forum information, visit www.nysagsociety.org or contact Executive Secretary, Ann Noble Shephard, at ann@nysagsociety.org, (315) 727-5449.
