Join NMPF’s National Young Cooperators Program for a webinar focused on workforce retention on dairy farms. The session will cover approaches to attracting and retaining skilled workers in a competitive labor market. Following the presentation, Lawnhurst Farms’ Felipe Martinez and Upstate Niagara’s Julia Smith will share experiences and successful tactics in cultivating and maintaining a dedicated farm workforce. Gain valuable insights, learn best practices and engage in a dynamic discussion aimed at fostering stability and growth on your farm.
SPEAKER AND MODERATOR
Kaitlyn Lutz is a bilingual dairy management specialist for Cornell Cooperative Extension. She assists farms with labor management, with a focus on the Hispanic labor force, and dairy herd health education. Prior to joining Cornell, Kaitlyn worked as a dairy veterinarian. She received her BS in Animal Science from the University of Delaware and VMD from University of Pennsylvania.
